Wind Meets West is the music of Tony Nguyen, an LA-born Viet-American singer-songwriter based in Queens, NY. Having started music at a young age with a foundation in classical and jazz training, he has found his voice through songwriting in order to tell stories and connect with people on a more intimate level.
His music has evolved from his “singer-songwriter with a guitar” roots to incorporating more electronic elements. This is exemplified in his latest single, “Gave Up” (out on March 29th), whose open soundscape and orchestration mirrors the void that occurs when you leave the person you love to pursue your dreams.
